Through nutritious meals, educational resources, and community support, the Hortense Bryan Center for Education and Food Security works to ensure that every child can learn, grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

Seeds of Change in Action
Every meaningful change begins with a seed. We plant seeds of opportunity today so that children, families, and communities can grow stronger, healthier, and more empowered tomorrow. From creating libraries and supporting community gardens to expanding access to educational and nutritional resources, our initiatives meet communities where they are and help them flourish. Together, we are cultivating hope, inspiring discovery, and growing a brighter future one seed at a time.
Project 01
Digital for Our Children
Today, technology is a big part of how we learn, work, communicate, and connect with the world. For our children to succeed in the future, it is important that they have the opportunity to learn how to use technology safely, confidently, and responsibly.

Digital literacy means more than knowing how to use a computer or tablet. It means knowing how to find information, communicate online, use digital tools for learning, create and share ideas, and understand how to stay safe on the internet.
​
Our goal is to help give children the tools they need to participate in an increasingly digital world. Every child should have the opportunity to learn, explore, create, and connect and digital literacy can help make that possible.

Project 03
The Rhonda Chung Library Initiative
The Rhonda Chung Library Initiative was created in honor of Rhonda Chung and her belief that every child deserves a strong foundation from an early age. Rhonda understood that access to books, learning materials, and education can give children a better start in life.

In her honor, we are donating books and educational materials to help build a library at Milk River School. This library will give children a place to read, learn, explore new ideas, and discover possibilities beyond their everyday surroundings.
​
Our hope is that the Rhonda Chung Library will become more than a room filled with books. We want it to be a place where young minds grow, dreams begin, and children are encouraged to believe in what they can become.
Project 04
Gardening for Empowerment
Gardening for Empowerment uses hands-on gardening and creative projects to help children grow stronger in body and mind. As they plant, water, and care for living things, young learners build confidence, learn responsibility, and discover the power of working together. Each seed they plant becomes a reminder that they, too, can grow, thrive, and help nourish their families and community.
